Hinduism
Hinduism can be considered a scientific religion! It talks about all the principles of physics, Newton’s law big bang theory, chemistry, biology etc by using a language of Symbolism. By Symbolism i mean the idol worship, the representations of God and his /her family of deities etc.
This article is about the crux of all the vedas, Brhmasutra's, Upanishad's etc, to give the normal man an overview and understanding of what this whole drama of life and death and life again is all about!
Also it gives you a glimpse of what i have learnt in the past 20 years of constant search for answers to some of the basic questions one can get in life ! Unfortunately or may be remotely fortunate enough, if not bugging, i got these questions as early as when i was 8 yrs old!.
At that age I was my grandpa's pet. I used to go wherever he goes!.
It may be because he was constantly associated with temples, poojarees and worship. I got influenced by that too to a large extent!.
I used to get a lot of questions, which i used to ask him. For which i used to get only one answer. "I Don't know", "Ask God He will explain it to you".
So then what to do?
One of my questions where about Who God was too!
I was very confused!!!!!
Then one day Swami Chandrashekar Saraswathi came to that temple on a holy occasion. I was blessed to get his darshan and sit beside him. I started asking him all my questions.
You know what he said?
He smiled. He took me on his lap. He took my hand and pointed towards the inner sanctum of the temple where Lord Muruga was present and said "That is it".
I did not understand anything. I just meekly smiled at him and kept quite and was thinking.
It took around 20 years of constant thought, culmination and rumination that i reached at a probably good conclusion which i would like to present it to you in the following paragraphs.
Atman
The eternal energy inside you is Atman. It is a part of the Universal source of energy. We the Atman’s using the body mind and intellect have to reach this Universal energy. We have to move towards it. On the way we may find a lot of obstacles. They are present only to correct us and to lead us in the right direction. All our sorrows are due to the reaction of our mistakes that we committed. Since we are not perfect we keep committing mistakes and correcting them the next time we encounter them. This cycle keeps continuing and this is normal life cycle.
The plants and animals don’t have the capacity to correct themselves. They are bound to continue committing the same mistake again and again. But human beings have this ability to correct themselves and move towards the universal source of energy. We call this universal source of energy as GOD in so many forms. The forms represent different natures of the form of energy. So The nature or characteristic that we can perceive we see one form but there exists no form for that universal source of energy.
We have to keep moving towards it by performing our obligatory duties and by performing it with the mode of renunciation we move our status through all the varnas defined or moving from Tamasik to rajasik to satvik temperament internally in the same human being.
We have to travel from earth to upper spiritual planets called pitru lok or brahma loka and finally reach Vaikunta or the place of that universal energy or cosmic force that controls everything. We have to compulsorily travel through all the lokas to reach the final abode of GOD. We can reach faster by performing our obilgatory duties and through devotion being performed together with a code of renunciation.
Inner Cycle
We reach finally the abode of GOD. Then this cycle of birth and death ends for this Atman. This cycle of atman reaching god is a cycle that can be made a single cycle when we do not commit mistakes and correct ourselves immediately. Thus we end our smaller cycle of birth and death. This smaller cycle may take say 50 million years depending upon our maturity to correct our mistakes or just a second in time. All demi gods and and human beings and creatures all reach this state. Even Brahma the creator of all also has to strive and perform his obligatory duties to reach this universal source of energy.

Outer Cycle
After everything that is seen as manifested reach or unite with this universal energy, we reach the unmanifested state or state of vacuum, it again explodes and get manifested into so many worlds and so many forms again. Since energy cannot remain stable for a long time when concentrated in the centre it explodes in all the states again both materialistic and spiritual with predefined natures for all the creatures and they have to again strive to unite with the supreme again. This may take 50 trillion years in time.
This is the bigger cycle that keeps happening and this is the eternal principle or law of GOD.
Hope this clarifies all of your doubts to a certain extent!
It is a constant search for self-enlightenment!! So keep digging folks!
